Must Have Animator Tools: sync sketch

I have been forced to use other tools in production, and nothing compares to Synsketch.

Pros and Many Unknown Features:

• The drawing tools are so robust it’s like animating in Photoshop. I have even animated flames and smoke as cues for animators.
• When art directing in person, the sync is so fast that I could sit at the artist’s desk, draw on my iPad, and have the draw-overs appear immediately on the computer screen.
• You can export the drawings as grease pencil files to import into Maya. You can export the content to be almost anything you want for production!
• Change the playback rate, insert in and out points, undo, ghosting with settings for how many ghosts, turn the annotations off and on, grids, hold drawings, and zoom functionality – seriously, THIS IS THE TOOL!
• I can mirror the work to watch the motion and ensure it moves well.
• Annotations can be drawings, changes to the timing, or notes in text form; I can add animated gifs and links from the Internet.
• Very powerful for artists to see their progress on their shots.
• It can make data public or private, so no one has to worry about their IPs.
