ADVANCED PLAYBLAST

Zurbrigg’s Advanced Playblast

Using ffmpeg*, Zurbrigg Advanced Playblast replaces Maya’s outdated AVI encoding solution, enabling users to effortlessly encode playblasts into mp4 or mov files using the widely recognized h264 video codec.

While Keyframe Pro remains my preferred choice, Zurbrigg’s Advanced Playblast offers a more economical solution to address specific workflow challenges associated with playblasts.

  • Seamlessly integrates an overlay for shot masks
  • Quickly adding burn-ins to any playblast.
  • Customize shot information, including frame details, scene names, and custom logos, either statically or dynamically, using built-in macros.
  • One-click playblasting, a built-in shot mask, a range of presets, customizable user settings, and more
  • Export to mpeg or .mov files for playblast

**Ffmpeg is a free, open-source application required for playblasting. The provided documentation provides details on downloading and installing Ffmpeg.
