MUSE Main Titles

https://vimeo.com/242758403
Fernando Domínguez Cózar created this opening titles for the Jaume Balagueró´s new film “Muse”, a thriller based on the novel ” La Dama número 13 ” by José Carlos Somoza. The Dante´s Divide comedy has an strong presence on the “Muse” film since the main character, Samuel, has an special link with literature. The opening titles are based on one of the Divine comedy´s infernos: The fate of suicides.

Since the suicides have “denied the God-given sanctity of their bodies on earth,” they are deemed unfit for human form. The soul grows into an anguished and gnarled tree. The placement of the soul is haphazard and disordered – “anywhere that fortune tosses it” – analogous to how the Suicides treated their bodies.

The opening titles are a representation of this tate of suicides´s inferno, the human anatomy is the main character of the piece. Melted bodies forming abstract forms mixing and forming trees, nature elements and surrealist creatures inhabit this fiction.

Be free

In partnership with Psyop, nöbl created this quirky and humourous video clip. As a celebration of sexual freedom, it is thanks to the expertise of a talented team of contributors that we were able to bring this suggestive and fluid sequence to life. The project was initially commissioned by a brand, and has never been made available to the public.

“Footprints in Memories” - Concert Visuals Montage

https://vimeo.com/205199190

Trunk’s director Rok Predin is no stranger when it comes to creating concert visuals. His backdrops for Keith Urban, Sir Elton John, the Queen’s jubilee concert and for the Bingo Player’s latest tour have reached a combined audience of over 30 million. But his latest work is far more personal and intimate. He has been asked to create a series of eighteen visuals to be used as a backdrop at his father`s concerts. His father Zoran Predin is one of Slovenia`s most respected singer songwriters, with a string of hit singles to his name.

Zoran recently collaborated with one of Croatia`s most talented and respected pianists Matija Dedić on a bestselling album "Footprints in Memories" (Tragovi u sjeti).

Each tableaux created by Rok has visuals that reference specific lyrics or encapsulate the feeling of each song. He states "I approached each visual in terms of a theatre set or a photograph, i wanted to introduce a bit of magic and surrealism ti the songs and to have my loops come from unexpected places for the audience to enjoy".

Here you can see a montage of all of them set to one of Zoran`s most famous ballads entitled "Wait for Me" (Čakaj me)

Particles FX & environments created with Trapcode Suite

Although this project was initiated as an homage to Visual Music by creating abstract animations closely linked to music, and more specifically to the works of Walter Ruttmann and Oskar Fischinger, it quickly took off on its own path. Because of the origami bird, I wasn’t in complete abstraction anymore, and the whole thing became more “stylized” than “abstract.” Except for the bird, everything was created with particles and Trapcode Suite.
